Concrete Trench
Concrete trench system is a durable, linear drainage or utility management solution consisting of a channel-shaped made of precast concrete, typically covered with a protective grate or concrete cover. These systems are engineered to collect and convey surface water runoff or house critical underground infrastructure like power and communication lines.
Manufactured off-site under strict controlled conditions, U.S. Barricades modular units ensure consistent quality with quick and easy installation. This prosess is a major improvement in saving significant time and labor costs compared to traditional cast-in-place methods. All trenches are made in the United States and ships to all 50 States.
Modular and Easy Installation: The interlocking components allow for quick and accurate assembly on-site, which significantly speeds up project timelines. Units arrive pre-formed and ready for placement, reducing field errors and reliance on specific weather conditions during construction.
Infrastructure: Deployed in municipal projects, railway systems, and substations for secure routing and management of power cables, communication lines, and piping, offering easy accessibility for future maintenance.
Stormwater Management: Used in parking lots, roadways, driveways, and building perimeters to prevent pooling, flooding, and erosion.
Industrial/Commercial: Installed in manufacturing facilities, warehouses, airports cable systems, hangars, and industrial kitchens to manage process wastewater, chemical spills, and cleaning runoff.
Precast Concrete Trenches are produced in 10-foot sections, this system less expensive and more economical than poured-in-place trenches or duct banks, and are more resistant than light-weight fiber concrete trenches.
All Precast concrete trenches from U.S. Barricades® are produced in accordance with strict ASTM manufacturing standards and made in the United States.
